Mar 16, 2026

The Sanya International Yacht Sub-Venue of the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo ("CICPE") will run from April 15 to 18 at the Sanya International Yacht Center. Under the theme "China's Window, Yachting into the Future", the sub-venue spans about 166,800 square meters and will feature around 200 vessels—setting new records in both scale and international participation.

As an important sub-venue of the CICPE, the main exhibition area is located at the Sanya International Yacht Center, with 18,000 square meters on land and 148,800 square meters on water. Two sub-venues—the Hongzhou International Yacht Club and the Banshan Peninsula Sailing Port—will once again offer visitors diverse on-water experiences, focusing on sailing and yacht cruising.

The event revolves around six key themes: domestically built yachts for export, green and zero-carbon innovation, global brand debuts, smart equipment experiences, second-hand yacht trading, and lifestyle integration. The water exhibition area has been expanded, with 70% of exhibits being international brands, covering a wide range of vessel types. A dedicated new-energy zone will showcase fully electric and eco-friendly vessels, providing a platform for domestic green boat manufacturers. Meanwhile, an online trading platform will also be introduced to streamline procurement and customs clearance, supporting second-hand yacht transactions, parts sourcing, and service outsourcing. To enhance visitor engagement, themed experiences such as "yachting & dining" and "yachting & fishing" will be offered, along with discounted yacht license training programs to make the nautical lifestyle more accessible.

A rich lineup of events is scheduled during the expo. The China Lure Angling Skills Challenge Sanya Stop will focus on the lure fishing segment, featuring basic skill competitions including pendulum casting, side casting, overhead casting, and fish fighting—attracting top anglers and enthusiasts from around the world. The 2026 Global Yacht Industry (Sanya) Summit, themed "Leading Green Transformation, Shaping a New Industry Landscape," will bring together global industry leaders to discuss Sanya's vision of becoming the "Yacht Capital of Asia-Pacific" and emerging trends in green yacht technology. The Yacht Business Matchmaking Session facilitate targeted discussions between international yacht brands, distributors, and local buyers to drive deals. A Forum on Yacht-Enabled High-End Customized Inbound Tourism will also be held, exploring yacht-culture-tourism integration and upgrades to premium international travel services, helping Sanya build a world-class coastal leisure destination.

The Opening Ceremony will serve as a key highlight, gathering industry elites and distinguished guests to connect global resources through yachting. Following the ceremony, the third Hainan International Yacht Design Competition and various yacht industry awards will be presented.

As of March 25, confirmed exhibitors include leading global brands such as Lagoon, Jeanneau, Beneteau (France), Ferretti, Azimut (Italy), Princess, Williams, Sunseeker (UK), Bavaria, Hanse (Germany), and Sea Ray, Monterey (US), alongside top domestic names including Dalian Huanzhu, Dalian Word, Qingdao Haoyun, and Qihang Yacht. Over 90 domestic and international yacht manufacturers and supporting enterprises will participate. The total number of exhibited vessels will reach 200, including 15 making their domestic debut or first appearance, and 6 superyachts over 80 feet in length.
