The 5th China International Consumer Goods Fair Sanya International Yacht Show, which lasted for four days, came to a successful conclusion on April 18th. This is the first time that the China International Consumer Goods Fair has set up a sub-exhibition area in Sanya. With the theme of "A City of a Thousand Boats, Sailing into the Future", the fair focuses on water-based lifestyle and Marine cultural tourism consumption. Nearly 20,000 visitors attended the event, and the total transaction amount of yachts was nearly 30 million yuan. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Hainan Province, organized by the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau and the People's Government of Sanya City, and specifically executed by the Sanya Central Business District Administration Bureau, the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Sanya Business District Development Group Co., LTD., and Hainan International Yacht Trading Co., LTD. The main venue of the exhibition is located at Sanya International Yacht Center, while the sub-venues are at Sanya Hongzhou International Yacht Marina and Sanya Banshan Peninsula Sailing Port. The total scale is approximately 166,800 square meters (including 18,000 square meters on land and 148,800 square meters on water).

International renowned yacht brands gather together
This year's exhibition closely adheres to the theme of the China International Consumer Goods Fair and aligns with the actual development of Sanya. It has attracted 62 exhibitors from over 20 countries to showcase more than 150 yachts, featuring many highlights that are "new, unique, special, excellent and cool". Among them, yacht (whole boat) exhibits dominated, accounting for 52.78%, and there were also various types of exhibits such as water entertainment, water sports equipment, and diving equipment, promoting in-depth cooperation among enterprises in all fields of "industry-university-research-venture capital" in the yacht industry.

A large number of internationally renowned yacht brands gathered together, including the flagship products of the British duo "Princess" and "Suntide", as well as over ten world-class yacht brands such as Italian Azmo, American Latte and Cris. It has focused on building a cultural hall themed on yachts from the UK, the main guest country of this year's Consumer Goods Fair. The Yacht Wedding and Fashion Hall also showcases wedding dresses and formal wear mainly from British brands. It attracted a total of Vivienne Westwood, Jenny Packham, Marchesa and Stella Six international first-line wedding dress brands, including McCartney, Needle&Thread, and Self-Portrait, participated in the exhibition. The Verawang 2025-2026 new product China debut will be held at the Sea Show Venue. Carefully, events such as the "True Love Sets Sail" sea wedding, "Hundred Boats in the Sea", and "OP Sailing Race" will be launched. A variety of yacht consumption scenarios including "Yacht + Wedding Dress", "Yacht + Rose", and "Yacht + Diving" will be created. Overseas buyer groups have come in a continuous stream, crossing mountains and seas
The exhibition attracted overseas buyer groups from 19 countries to purchase, covering East Asia (Japan), Southeast Asia (Bangladesh, Thailand), South Asia (India), Eastern Europe (Russia, Poland, Romania), Northern Europe (the United Kingdom, the Netherlands), Central and South America (Colombia), West Africa (Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso) and North Africa (Egypt, Albania). Among them, professional buyers from Russia accounted for 37.5%, the largest proportion. In terms of the sub-sectors of the buyer industry, the largest proportion are ship operators, purchasers of ships and related equipment, and cross-border traders, accounting for 72.5%. The rest mainly focus on cultural exchanges related to yachts, the dissemination of high-end lifestyle culture, and the fashion and luxury consumption industries.
The "spillover linkage" both inside and outside the exhibition has achieved fruitful results
The exhibition provides a high-quality platform for domestic and foreign enterprise representatives and individual buyers to negotiate cooperation and make personalized purchases. It fully promotes business connections and exhibit transactions between the upstream and downstream of the industry, and has reached a series of cooperation intentions, with a total intended transaction volume of approximately 45 million yuan.
In terms of transaction results, according to statistics, over 20% of yacht enterprises achieved on-site transactions, with the total transaction amount of yachts approaching 30 million yuan. The exhibition set up a special exhibition area for second-hand yachts for the first time, where four second-hand yachts were sold, with a transaction value of 19.898 million yuan. Among them, the transaction amount of one super yacht exceeded 18 million yuan. The trading inside the venue was booming, successfully stimulating the entire island's yacht and cruise ship trading market. According to incomplete statistics, about six or seven yachts had intended transactions outside the venue, with an intended transaction amount of approximately 30 million yuan. With the extension of the exhibition's benefits, it is expected that yacht transactions will continue to be promoted within two months after the exhibition ends. In the Youting Wedding and Fashion Hall, many dresses of the same style as celebrities are deeply loved by buyers, who placed orders on the spot and reached their purchase intentions. A high-end custom-made jewelry piece worth 1.46 million yuan from Runjin Store was highly sought after and eventually a purchase intention was reached. The fragrance and chemical products and luggage in the display area of cdf Sanya International Duty-Free City have become best-selling categories. On the evening of the 15th, after the debut of Verawang's 2025-2026 new products in China, many new wedding dresses were pre-ordered and purchased. According to statistics, the intended transaction amount of the yacht wedding and fashion exhibition hall this time is approximately 15 million yuan, which has effectively promoted the development of the fashion consumption industry in Sanya, enabling more international well-known brands to expand their markets through the platform of the Consumer Goods Fair, and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent entry of high-end custom fashion brands into Hainan.

The all-round yacht consumption scenarios have helped "yacht + cultural and creative products" go viral and explore new paths for cross-border value transmission. At the exhibition, Benavio Museum launched shellfish cultural and creative products with collection value. Cosco Shipping Research Institute (Hainan) Co., Ltd. brought the "AI Future Yacht Workshop", allowing everyone to become a yacht designer. It also collaborated with China Post's "Sound Mailbox" to customize yacht postcards privately, attracting many visitors to experience them on site.

It is worth mentioning that the Italian delegation has reached an agreement with the Sanya Central Business District to establish the Italian Viareggio Yacht Design Center in Sanya. With the model of "Italian design + Hainan manufacturing", it aims to target the international and domestic high-end yacht market. This exhibition also pioneered the "exhibition as office" model, successfully assisting four enterprises (including one foreign-funded enterprise) to settle in the park and one enterprise to handle change business. It completed over 15 tax-related matters, processed debit card business for six foreigners on the spot, and provided consumer loan services for 26 domestic individuals, achieving a lightning-fast pace in attracting investment from the free trade port.
